Kevin Redmon, General Manager

As the General Manager of Premier Events, Kevin fills a lot of different roles in the organization and his varied background suits him perfectly for this role. From procuring event permits and designing festival site plans to programming websites and negotiating vendor contracts, nothing seems to be out of Kevin's reach.

A fourth generation Atlanta native, Kevin attended Oglethorpe University and got his initial glimpse of the entertainment business by way of serving as the Station Manager for WJTL, the campus radio station. Using the station as a spring board, Kevin produced his first event his freshman year. He jumped in with both feet handling every element of the event from securing the event site and booking the bands to securing the sound equipment and managing all the event marketing. Feeling the satisfaction of a well executed event, it was then that he first realized what would be his career dream of producing events. Kevin's first event endeavor was a true learning experience. The next year as Sophomore Class President, he produced the University's Holiday Party, the biggest party of the year for the student body held at the Variety Playhouse.

Kevin joined the Premier Events team in 1999 working as part of the concessions team at Chastain Park Amphitheatre. In 2000, Kevin became the beverage manager of the Tabernacle, a 2,800 capacity theatre in Atlanta, and eventually went on to manage the food and beverage operations at Chastain Park Amphitheatre (6,800 capacity), and the Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre (1,800 capacity). During this time he also assisted with the management of various events, including the role of the concessions Cash Operations Manager for Music Midtown, a 300,000+ person event. In 2004 while still fulfilling a part-time role at Premier Events, Kevin took a sales job for IBM where he was a consistent top selling associate breaking many sales records and was named "Rookie of the Year" in 2004, as well as "Rep of the Year" in 2005.

Kevin re-joined the Premier Events team full time in 2006 as the company's General Manager where he manages a variety of roles. Kevin serves as manager for various Premier Event projects coordinating the numerous logistical elements needed to pull off any successful event. He is also responsible for training new staff and streamlining overall company affairs to increase the team's productivity.
